Life is not a straight road - it has twists, turns and detours. There is more than one way to get where you want to go, and there's plenty to see along the way. So why spend all your time on the freeway?

I have been blessed with an unusual life. My father was a Chief Master Sargeant in the United States Force. That gave me the opportunity to travel as a child - to places both exotic and mundane. I was born in Canada (giving me Canadian citizenship), spent my formative years in the US, Libya, and Japan, and have not yet given up the habit of travel and adventure.

Life is full of diversions. You think you know who you are, then something happens and you re-think everything. You keep what is useful and discard the rest. An individual life evolves just as much as the planet does.

I have chosen to not limit myself to one occupation. I am an adjunct instructor at American InterContinental University in Los Angeles, having earned my Ph.D. in Cell Biology and Anatomy from LSU Medical Center in 1990. I am personal assistant to my partner, actor Anthony De Longis, and have designed and managed his website (www.delongis.com) for the past 3 years. I am the business manager for his production company, Palpable Hit Productions. I am trained in stage combat and whip-cracking, and have worked as Stunt Coordinator Assistant and fight double for the syndicated series Queen of Swords. I have also performed on the stage of the Hollywood Bowl and in the arena of numerous Wild West Shows, including the Single Action Society's "End of Trail".

As you can see from that, life is a long list of diversions. And that is just what this website is all about: life's diversions. And as far as I'm concerned, that's what makes life rich!
